Work: Forest Bathing: Lupuna

A multisensory installation that brings the public to the lush presence of the Lupuna tree through two spaces. The audience is invited to step through a waterfall into a sensorial experience where a tropical downpour saturates the senses through spacial audio, light and rain machines.

Shifting Landscapes presents works by nine artists that open our imaginations to our entanglement with the biosphere, from the smallest stirrings of life within our bodies to the massive imprints we have left on the Earth’s face. Drawing us out of our human exceptionalism towards kinship with the living world, these works remind us of the deep interconnectedness of all life.

This world premiere exhibition features four major digital artworks on a grand, awe-inspiring scale plus evocative works on paper. Through guided meditation, large-scale screen works and interactive experiences, visitors evolve from droplets of water to plants, cells and stars, becoming part of the cycle of life and the cosmos.

An immersive installation featuring binaural audio meditation, interactive virtual reality, and large-scale projections. This is the Polish premiere. The world premiere took place at Tribeca International Film Festival 2022. The European premiere took place at the Geneva International Film Festival in 2022. The Korean premiere took place at Museum Wave, Seoul in 2023.

Work: Sanctuary of the Unseen Forest is a large-scale video installation that creates a moment of awe, felt, when we embrace the presence of a majestic being, a giant Ceiba pentandra from the Colombian Amazon. The artwork becomes a sanctuary, a place to reflect and contemplate our place within the wider systems of nature.

Work: Evolver

Evolver is a collective virtual reality experience which drops audiences deep inside the landscape of the body, following the flow of oxygen through our branching ecosystem, to a single ‘breathing’ cell. Through this transcendental narrative, it becomes clear that breath not only sparks life, but also connects us to the natural world through the cycle of respiration. Executive produced by Edward R. Pressman and Terrence Malick, featuring voice over by Cate Blanchett and music by Jonny Greenwood, Meredith Monk, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Howard Skempton and Jon Hopkins.

questions our relationship with the natural world at a time of crisis and change.
